How to Prepare Your Home Before a Cleaner Arrives

You don't need to clean before we arrive — but 10 minutes of prep helps us clean deeper in the time we're scheduled. Here's exactly what to do.

10-minute pre-clean prep

Pick up floor clutter (toys, shoes, bags); clear kitchen counters and dining tables; put away laundry; strip beds if you'd like fresh linens; secure jewelry or cash.

What to leave for your cleaner

Any specific product requests (fragrance-free, pet-safe), fragile item notes, areas to skip, and entry instructions.

Do I need to be home?

No — most customers leave a lockbox code, garage code, smart-lock code, or key with a neighbor. We text arrival and completion updates so you always know when we're there.

Pets

We're pet-friendly at no charge. If your pet is anxious around vacuums, letting us know at booking helps.

Frequently asked

+Should I put dishes in the sink or the dishwasher?

Dishwasher if possible — we'll wash counters and sink faster, and your kitchen looks reset when we leave.

+Do you make beds?

Yes — we make beds with existing linens. Leave fresh sheets on the bed if you want them changed.
